First day of 1st Grade

My little Kaia started 1st grade today. She tested to be in the Advanced Reader Gifted and Talented Program and was accepted. She is going to a different school with a bunch of kids that don't know each other. She had a rough time this morning when we dropped her off. She cried and cried because she doesn't know a single person in her class. I hope that when I pick her up she will decide that this new school and new program will be fun. Once she gets the hang of all her new classmates she will be riding the bus!
