Snake River Float Trip

We took our annual trip to Jackson Hole to camp and float the Snake River. May dad has his own raft so we've been rafting this river since I was very small. Some random guy took this picture and e-mailed it to my dad. You can't see her, but Kaia is sitting in the bottom of the boat in the very front. I was the paranoid mother who let her go down the entire river, but made her sit in the bottom of the boat while we went over the huge rapids. Aunt Jan and her friend, Rachel held on to her.
By next year we will have purchased a wet suit for Kaia to wear down the river. Poor girl got drenched and almost got hypothermia. OK, not really, but she was so cold she couldn't walk after we finished and it took her two towels and me holding her to get warm again.
